After successfully wrapped up his sold-out tour overseas, KUN is back! He’s taken a new role in a philanthropic mission against poverty and become the protagonist for Prada 2019 Fall/Winter Campaign. In addition, our special guests Sharon, a lovely new fan and David, a caring husband of another IKUN are joining us today to share their stories.
在成功举办了数场人气爆满的海外公演后，KUN回国了！近日，他投身于公益事业，担任脱贫攻坚大使，还成为了Prada 2019秋冬季新品宣传大片的主角。在本期节目中，我们的特邀嘉宾Sharon，一位新入坑的粉丝，以及David，一位IKUN的好好先生，将与我们分享他们与KUN的故事。

Berry: Ok, The first big news to be mentioned today! KUN has set up his official YouTube channel! The music video for his new song Hard To Get is out now there, definitely check it out, do not forget to give him a thumbs up and subscribe his channel!

Mumu: On May 14th, KUN was named the goodwill ambassador of the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. He pledged to promote the social awareness for the disaster prevention programs with his IKUNs.
在5月14日，KUN被任命为“中国扶贫基金会减灾形象大使”。他承诺会带领IKUN一起推动社会对减防灾项目的认识。
Berry: For May 24th and 25th, KUN actually made another two stops in Toronto and Vancouver, which were marked as his final stop for his ONE Tour. So, for this time, he actually sang I Wanna Get Love, which is the first ever song he wrote by himself, he also imitated the "miumiumiu"sound for his "little cats", which is also the nickname for IKUNs, that is super super super cute, I was pretty impressive by that.

Well, the biggest news that is still hot off the press is... On May 31st, KUN joined Prada's campaigns line-up and collaborated with multimedia artist Cao Fei on a futuristic short film called "Code Human". Check it out on KUN's official YouTube channel! It's super cool!

Berry: So tell us about how did you get to know about KUN?
Sharon，我们想知道你是怎么认识蔡徐坤的呢？
Sharon: It's a long story really, I knew his name in Idol Producer last year, but I did not follow this show, and last month I watched another similar show in Youku, it was annoying that lots of real-time comments flied in the total screen mentioned XingDongYaZhou, yes, I saw KUN's name again, so I was curious about this show and just watched it. And KUN was very young but grew fast in the second episode, so I felt more interested in him and searched his name on weibo, by chance, I knew he was doing his live house tour in LA, I watched some video recorded by his fan, and wow thanks for the fan's videos. It was so incredible that the radiance of his looks, his move, his smiles easily attracted me. And after I watched all the live performance, l felt like I did a bungee jumping that I cannot escape to be a big fan of him.
这说来话长，去年我没怎么关注过《偶像练习生》仅仅从中知道了他的名字。上个月我在优酷上看了一档类似综艺，烦人的实时弹幕一直提《星动亚洲》，是的，我又看到了KUN的名字，带着一丝好奇心去看了星动，那时KUN年龄真的很小但在第二季中飞速成长，我感觉对他更感兴趣了所以去微博上搜他的名字，恰巧这时候他在洛杉矶公演，我看了一些饭拍视频，哇真的很不可思议，不管是整体造型，舞台动作甚至他的笑容都非常吸引我。看完了所有现场表演后，我感觉我彻底成他粉丝了，蹦极式跳坑。
Mumu: Ha-ha I hear you. I was there in this LA show, and you can totally feel it when he got on stage, that your emotion is completely controlled by him and his music.
Mumu：我明白你的感受。LA 巡演我正好在那，当KUN登台表演时，你完全能感受到他的魅力，你的情绪完全被他的表演和歌曲牵引着。
Sharon: Yes. 我完全同意。
Berry: Just curious, before you get to know KUN, do you hold any stereotypes against him?

Sharon: Yeah, actually I did not see any K-POP show before, even I didn't know who is GD-Dragon, to be honest, but last year when I saw KUN's first stage in Idol Producer, I just thought his look was too much Korean style, see, this was my stereotype against him even though I have no idea about K-POP. Interestingly, after a IKUN shared the sound source of I Wanna Get Love, I found my stereotype was really ridiculous, I was shocked because KUN wrote it very well actually and this song is really catchy. and I listened the latest live versions, Toronto and Vancouver, I listened at least 20 times, no brag. I enjoyed his change of style, terrific rap, beautiful voice. so I really want to say thanks KUN for your insistence of music, and your live tour showed that you are just Caixukun's style, definitely, very unique and I love it !
其实我以前从来不看韩国流行音乐节目，说实话我甚至不知道权志龙是谁，去年《偶像练习生》我看了KUN的首秀舞台，当时觉得他的造型太韩范了。看，即使我对K-POP完全不了解，我仍然有刻板印象。有意思的是，我入坑之后，一位IKUN分享了《I Wanna Get Love》的音源给我听， 我才发现之前刻板印象非常可笑，KUN这首歌其实写的很好而且歌的旋律非常抓人。就最近的live版，多伦多和温哥华两场，我加起来听了不下20遍吧，不自夸。我很享受他风格的变化，rap很精彩，声音非常好听。所以我其实很想对KUN说，谢谢一直以来你对音乐的坚持，你的巡演舞台说明了你就是你蔡徐坤的风格，非常独特，我真的很喜欢！
Berry: Thank you so much, and as you said, you start following KUN like out of a sudden, how does your family or friends think of you following KUN at this point?
谢谢你的分享，正如你所说，你是蹦极式入坑成为粉丝的，那你的家人或朋友怎么看待你追星这件事？
Sharon: I was really shy to let my friends know because we are all PhD students, much older than KUN, but I was surprised that my husband knew KUN's name, he is in California and was totally misleaded by the rumors online, he thought KUN is just like other young celebrities, attending variety shows and attracting fans to spend money for his hot. A beautiful but empty vase. I said no, caixukun has his own music works, the only two shows he attended were KuaiLeDaBenYing and TianTianXiangShang. I recommended my husband to watch KUN's Levi‘s interview and now he bought KUN's music in iTunes and followed KUN's channel in YouTube for me, haha.
我其实很害羞去告诉我的朋友我成了KUN的粉丝，因为我们都博士生嘛，比KUN大很多啦，我比较惊讶的是我老公居然知道KUN的名字，他现在美国加州我真不知道他咋知道的，而且他完全被网上流言误导了，他觉得KUN就是跟其他小鲜肉一样，参加各种综艺吸引粉丝为他的热度买单，一个花瓶罢了。我怼他说，你是认真的相信那些洗脑包么？蔡徐坤不是篮球运动员，他有他自己的音乐作品，他就参加过《快乐大本营》和《天天向上》！后来我有推荐他去看KUN的李维斯采访，现在他在iTunes上买KUN的歌听还在YouTube上关注了KUN的官方频道，为我。
Mumu: He did that all for love, haha. That‘s a very good husband. So, Sharon, I am sure you have watched many different interviews and performance, and out of all of these things, what do you like most about KUN? What is one trait that you really brought you to follow him?
爱屋及乌，哈哈, 是个好老公。所以，Sharon, 我相信你已经看过很多KUN的采访和表演了，抛开这些具体细节，你觉得你最喜欢KUN什么？KUN的什么品质打动了你成为他的粉丝？
Sharon: It's a hard question, I love KUN's everything, if I have to specify, I will say it's KUN's music. His music showed his attitude to life, which is to be real, real to himself, real to music, real to IKUN and any others. He is really tough and kind.
KUN inspired my passion to music, I am afraid I cannot follow what he likes, so I learned a lot from IKUN and other network resource, an interesting thing is, when KUN did his DJ music, he occasionally carried the headphone, I thought he just tried to be cool and actually he was monitoring the new track playing in the headphone, and prepared to do music transition,
这问题有点难，我喜欢KUN的一切。非得要说最喜欢他哪一点，我想说是音乐作品。KUN的音乐包含了他对生活的态度，就是真实的面对自己，音乐，IKUN和其他任何人。他真的很坚强善良。KUN使我重燃对音乐的热情，我害怕自己听不懂他喜欢的音乐，所以我从其他IKUN那儿或者从网络上学习了很多，我发现个有趣的事情，KUN每次DJ表演时会时不时拿起耳机，我原以为他只是想耍酷，但实际上他是通过耳机监听新的曲子，是在准备做歌曲切换。
Mumu：Oh, is that what it is？Well, thank your Sharon for letting us know, I always wondered about it too!
噢，原来是这样。谢谢Sharon让我们了解到，我也一直好奇这个！
Sharon: It's hard to do perfect music blend, when you learned more about the details of DJ techniques, you will find KUN is really hard-working and talent, and you will want to support him more and more, as long as he get what he want.
恩，想做到完美的歌曲接续其实很难的，当你对DJ技术细节了解得越多，你会发现KUN真的很勤奋且有天赋，你就会越发想一直支持他，直到他得到他想要的。
Mumu: Totally agree. 完全赞同。
Berry: So as you start following KUN so closely, I am sure that you have met a lot of other IKUNs, who have the same opinion with you. So overall, how do you like the IKUN family?
所以Sharon你这么密切地关注着KUN，我相信你也遇到了很多和你一样观点的IKUN，你是怎么看待IKUN这个大家庭的呢？
Sharon: IKUN family is very diverse, I think most of ikuns are very cute. I knew some conflicts happened occasionally, they might become aggressive or impatient. But I think most of IKUNs have the common sense, that is to trust KUN‘s fashion taste, talent and creativity. KUN is very organized, and KUN&IKUN play a long game. So I hope IKUN can lead yourself a happy fan life with positive energy.
IKUN粉圈其实非常多元化，我认识的大部分IKUN都非常可爱，我知道有时候会有些小冲突，大家可能变得好斗或失去耐性。但我始终相信大家是有共识的，就是只信任KUN，相信他的品位，天赋和创造力。KUN是非常有计划的人，我们和他都有很长的路要走。我希望IKUN能快乐追星，充满正能量。
Mumu: That's right! And I know KUN want us to do as well: look beyond the negativities, and always keep positive attitudes towards life! And he also want us to be good friends with each other, right?
你说得太对了！我知道KUN也是这么想的，他希望我们不要只看到消极的那一面，而是以积极的态度面对生活，他还希望我们彼此是和谐的能成为朋友的，对吧？

Berry: For his US tour, I have also noticed a lot of spouses of IKUNs have been lined up with their love to see KUN’s performances. They have to stay in line for couple of hours which is pretty impressive.
在这次KUN的美国公演中，我看到有很多IKUN和她们的爱人一起排队看演出。他们一般需要排队好几个小时，我觉得印象非常深刻。
Berry: So now let’s have our next special guest, we have David here, David is a husband of an IKUN here, at IKUN meets KUN today,

David: Hi Berry, how are you? Berry 你好，最近怎样？
Berry: I am great, thank you for joining us today. 挺好的，谢谢你今天接受我们的采访。
David: Awesome! I am excited to be here. 很好，我很兴奋参加这期节目。
Berry: My first question here is how did you get to know about KUN and what is your opinion of him? 我的第一个问题是你是怎么认识KUN 的，你对KUN有什么看法？
David: Yeah, so I first got to know KUN through my wife who was watching Idol Producer maybe a year or a year and half ago, so, I was kind of sit looking at it and seeing her involved watching interested in these guys, specifically one of the singers or performers of which turned out to be KUN at the time. So I was seeing how he is like a young kid there very hard-working on the show and he didn’t have a company, he’s just by himself competing against everybody else, and then I saw in the end he became the winner and the center of the group. Melisa was telling about me how he worked really hard to get to where he was without any professional training by a large company in the end he became the center of Nine Percent which I thought that was pretty cool.
我开始知道KUN是大概在一年或一年半以前我爱人看《偶像练习生》的时候。我坐那里看到她非常投入的看那些男孩表演，其中有一个她尤其喜欢，就是KUN。我看到他没有经纪公司，年纪轻轻的孩子一个人很努力的练习，单枪匹马和其他练习生竞争，最后看着他成功出道。Melisa告诉我他是如何在没有经纪公司的专业培养下，独自努力练习成为了现在的他，最后在组合里以C位出道，我觉得他太棒了。
Berry: Wow, so as you have mentioned that you watched Idol Producer together with your wife, so among all these performances, I really want to hear like what is the most impressive stage to you and what is your opinion about it?
你说到你是和你爱人一起看的《偶像练习生》，在节目的众多舞台表演中，我很想知道哪个舞台让你印象最深刻，你觉得他的舞台怎样？
David: There are many performances that my wife showed me online they were all really good but none of them were really like stuck out to me until I went to the New York concert. So, there I saw him in persons, we waited like six to eight hours in line which means we got into the third or fourth row when it opened up. So when he’s performing I got to see him DJ, we were probably like less than 20 feet away from him, and there was really, there was surreal, I think there was a thing I will never forget that because I was there. That’s the most impressive stages I saw, and I was really impressed that he was DJing also he played his remixes, My favorite song is 'Wait Wait Wait', but I also like 'Bigger' because it has more of the EDM influence in it.
我妻子给我看了网上很多表演视频，其实都挺好的，但没有让我眼前一亮的表演。直到我去了KUN 的纽约公演，亲眼看到他表演。 我们在外面排了6到8个小时的队才占到了第三还是四排的位置。当他在台上DJ表演的时候，我们离他只有不到20尺，这感觉特别不真实。所以这次公演让我身临其境，难以忘怀。是目前我印象最深刻的演出，比如他的DJ表演和他歌曲的remix版。 我最喜欢的歌是《Wait Wait Wait》，《Bigger》我也很喜欢，因为里面有很多电音元素。
David: Well he was really different in the concert because he like showed his more like a badass side verses in Nine Percent, you know, he kind of showed more like a cute or boyish personality. But then in the concert, but I understand that he is promoting his songs, so he looks really cool.
他在公演中展示出来的完全是他调皮坏男人的一面，而他在Nine Percent组合里面，表现出来的是可爱大男孩的一面。 公演时他在台上唱歌表演的样子真的非常酷。
Berry: Yeah, as you have mentioned 'Wait Wait Wait', for its music video KUN, actually put a lot of efforts into it as well. KUN invited the Grammy award director Dave Meyers to direct the whole video and he put a lot of different culture elements into it. It‘s like a storytelling, instead of just traditional like dancing video, so when we all saw it (for the) first time, we are just like wow. That’s totally different (from what) we expected.
你提到的《Wait Wait Wait》,这首歌的MV其实KUN下了很大的功夫，他邀请了格莱美得奖导演Dave Meyers来掌镜，他在里面加入了很多文化元素。这个MV像是在讲述一个故事而不是传统的歌舞类型MV。当我们看到MV的时候，我们都惊呆了，跟我们想象的完全不一样。
David: Yeah, so I really like the music video. It’s a very, I would say like artistic or creative in the way that the director had designed it and cast it, and actually, when we were waiting for the New York show, we have met an actor who had a friend that was the woman in the video who had the makeup on. So, there was a pretty cool connection that we made waiting in line. Actually, he had brought his daughter to see the concert.
对，我非常喜欢这支MV， 通过导演的设计和镜头，我觉得这支MV非常具有艺术性和创造性。其实在这次纽约公演我们排队的时候认识了一位演员，他的一位朋友就是那位MV里带青花瓷妆的女生，所以真的是很奇妙的缘分。他带了他女儿来看KUN的公演。
Berry: That is pretty cool I think. So, as you’ve said your wife had spent a lot time following him around for the U.S. tour, what is your general idea about, like, star-chasing , what is your thought about an idol like KUN？
哇，太棒了，像你说的你爱人花了很多时间去看KUN在美国的公演，你对这种追星的行为有什么看法？你对KUN这种类型的偶像又有什么看法？
David: My wife had never done this before, done star chasing. So I was kind of surprised that she flew out to San Francisco to see his concert and then flew to Los Angeles to see his concert and then flew to New York to see the concert as well. So, I actually met her in New York. So I saw the New York concert. By that time she’s already seen two other of his performances and moved across the country with him. I think it’s a good experience to have, especially since he is your favorite artist, so I was proud that she was able to get to do that, that she had the time and money to fly around to follow him.
我爱人以前从来不追星，所以当她飞去旧金山，LA还有纽约去看KUN的演出的时候，我挺惊讶的。我和她是在纽约会合的。我只看了纽约场的公演，那会我妻子已经看了其他两场演出了，KUN公演开到哪里，她就飞到哪里. 其实我觉得如果他是你非常喜欢的艺术家，这样也是个不错的经历，她有经济能力和时间飞去看他演出，我为她感到自豪。
Berry: So have you ever like lined up for such a long time before just for a concert?
你以前有没有为了看一场演出排很长时间的队？
David: Not before KUN but maybe two weeks or so after returning from the New York trip , we’ve went to see my favorite group BLACKPINK, a K-pop group, in Coachella and then a couple weeks later we went to see their New York concert as well.
我们从纽约回来之后大概两个星期，我们去 Coachella 音乐节看了我最喜欢的韩流组合BLACKPINK的表演，几周以后我们又看了她们在纽约的演唱会。
Berry: So, what is the experience different in seeing concert like Black pink and for going to a show like live house show for KUN?
你觉得KUN 的 live house 形式的演出和BLACKPINK 的演唱会有什么不同？
David: BLACKPINK is obviously from a much larger company, so they have much larger production of the concert base. Whereas KUN’s concert is more like a, more intimate concert cause there were fewer people and it’s in a smaller environment. So, if you were really there, that meant you were really a true fan, you know. When I went to KUN’s concert, we were 20 feet away from him. To see his growth since he first started out on Idol Producer to where he is right now,DJing his own shows by himself, headlining his own concert, that was really cool.
BLACKPINK来自于大的经纪公司，所以他们演唱会的制作会比较大型一些。KUN的公演是那种能和偶像更近距离互动的感觉，观众在一个比较小的空间里聚集。如果你在那里，感觉你就是他最核心的粉丝。 我在他的公演中跟他只有20尺的距离 （你可以想象一下是什么感觉）。看到他从《偶像练习生》到现在的成长，做DJ表演，开办个人公演，真的非常酷。
Berry: So can you share with us like one or two funny moments at the show？
能和我们分享一两个看公演时的趣事吗？
David: Like I said earlier, we were like one of the first people in line so which allowed us to be in the third or fourth row in the concert, and after the concert, a few days later, Melisa was reading to me some comments that some other IKUNs have posted regarding the New York concert, and said somebody was saying that at the New York concert there was a really tall guy with his girlfriend or wife, and he is blocking all our views, so we can’t see past him, and what made it worse was at the end of concert when KUN was taking pictures, this tall guy lifted his girlfriend or wife above, blocking everybody else behind him, so they couldn’t see, So, I apologize to all the IKUNs for being so tall and blocking their views, but it was a good experience I hope they still enjoyed the show.
我之前说过，我们去排队的非常早，所有我们能够在第三四排的位置, 公演结束几天以后，Melisa给我读了一些网上其他IKUN写的关于纽约公演的评论，有些人说纽约场有个很高的人和他女伴一起看演出，他太高了完全挡住了我们看KUN的视线。更糟糕的是，结尾的时候KUN和大家一起合影，这个大高个把他女伴举起来了，把后面的IKUN完全挡住了。我对被挡住了的IKUN表示抱歉，不过那次真的是个难忘的经历，我希望她们也看得很愉快。
Berry: Wow, I am pretty sure that this kind of special experience will bring a lot of like impressive memories. I am actually very curious like about how did you guys balance those time and did you ever like feel jealous of KUN because of your wife had spent a lot of time like following him?
我觉得这次特别的经历会留给你很多难忘的回忆。其实我很好奇你们是怎么平衡时间？你会不会因为老婆花很多时间在KUN身上而嫉妒KUN?
David: I never feel jealous. I think its great that she has her own hobbies, so from you know watching the show Idol Producer at the beginning, maybe I thought that she was watching too much TV, but when I saw that she was you know really interested in KUN and also start to spend time working with Kunsland, the fan group, I started to realize that this’s like a really good hobby of hers so I support her to continue working on it. You know, because it‘s her hobby, she is really interested in. I think that the time she is working on it, I can work on my hobbies as well, like exercising or playing games or reading, you know, so it’s good to have our own time alone as well.
我从来不会有嫉妒的感觉，我觉得她有自己的爱好是很好的事情，她开始看《偶像练习生》的时候，我觉得她花太多时间看电视了。但是当我看到她特别喜欢KUN并且开始在蔡徐坤姐姐团（Kunsland）为爱发电的时候，我意识到她是真的喜欢，所以我支持她继续做她喜欢的事。因为她是真的喜欢这件事情，所以她做她喜欢的事情，同时我也可以做我喜欢的事比如健身，游戏，看书。我们都需要有属于我们自己的时间。
